Rim Locks
Rim Locks: A surface mounted lock that has the facility to lock and latch the door. Most are handed left or right. To establish handing - when inside the room, if the hinges are on the right, then it is classed as a Right Hand Lock. Knobs extra cost. Please note that Rim locks are not suitable for use on exterior doors unless accompanied by a british standard 5 lever mortice deadlock.
