Broughtons of Leicester Ltd is an independent family run retailer specialising in lighting, ironmongery and accessories for period style homes. The name Broughton has been synonymous with Ironmongery in Leicester (U.K.) since 1888, when our forefathers founded Broughton & Jones in Market Place, Leicester. In 1979, I recognised the need for a quality specialist ironmongery showroom, committed to providing traditional, high quality goods, with a personal, old-fashioned service. Since then, Broughtons of Leicester Ltd has grown from strength to strength and now offers the widest range of period accessories for doors, windows and cabinets, and an amazing display of interior and exterior lighting at our impressive showrooms in Anstey, Leicestershire.

How to Find Us
We are located in the village of Anstey which is just north west of Leicester. Quick and easy access via the M1 (J21A Northbound or J22 Southbound) and the A46. We have ample free on-site parking.

Our Showroom
Broughtons has a fabulous showroom in Leicestershire based over 2 floors with approximately 10,000 items on display. Many first time customers (and indeed regular customers) experience the "wow" factor when walking through the doors into our emporium. We have one of the finest collections of Period Lighting on display, along with all our many stocked ranges of Door Furniture, Window Furniture and Cabinet-ware. We passionately believe in the fact that we are more than just a website - that there is no substitute for visiting, seeing and touching some of the wonderful items we have on display. In addition, you can rest assured that everything in our showrooms is all at the same published price as here on our website. Within easy reach of the M1 motorway, free and easy parking, and close to local beauty spot Bradgate Park with all its tearooms, why not make a day of it?
