If you are a retail customer in the UK then when we send you your Goods you will also receive a delivery/returns note (as well as your receipt). Full instructions on how to return the Goods to us are on the delivery/returns note. You have 14 days from date of receipt to return Goods to us and do not have to give a reason for doing so. You will have to pay for the return of the Goods. If the entire order is being returned, your refund will include the cost of the original delivery. You can either organize the return yourself (getting proof of postage) or (mainland UK only) we can arrange a collection via our courier. Courier collections arranged by us are charged at £15 per parcel if less than 1.5m in length, or £37 for parcels over 1.5m in length (eg curtain poles).
If you are NOT a retail customer or you are outside of the UK then you will not be able to return goods to us unless they are faulty.
If you receive damaged or faulty Goods then you should contact us to arrange the return within 48 hours of your receipt of the Goods. If we confirm when the Goods arrive back with us that they are damaged or faulty, then you will not be liable for the cost of returning the Goods. You will be offered a replacement or refund.
We regret that we cannot accept returns for Special Order items (unless damaged or faulty). A Special Order item would typically be any item that is not in stock.
We cannot be held responsible for packages lost, delayed or damaged in transit. For your protection if you are returning Goods to us, we recommend that you send your package by Royal Mail Special Delivery.

Cannot fix to a flat wall as the sliding part is behind the face plate and needs space to move.
Must install with some draft tape to lift the face off the wall which isn't as sightly as would have liked.
Feels decent enough quality but should be for the price.

Great quality but screws too short

The vent cover is made well and is finished to a high standard. As others have commented, the screws supplied with it are very short and would only be suitable to hold the vent on to a solid wall i.e. not plasterboard. Also the open/shut mechanism is proud of the back surface so the vent either needs to be mounted in a perfectly sized recess or raised off the surface of the wall by a few mm in order not to foul its operation. I applied a strip of self-adhesive insulating foam to achieve this. That said I would buy one again.

Was nice quality, coated in plastic film to protect the pristine finish. The screws are small but I used the small yellow plugs and a small masonry bit and had no problems fixing to the wall. I added a bead of flexible sealant and wiped off the excess after tightening the screws - it’s a very tidy finish to what was a bit of a mess.

Item as described. Dpd driver delivered to wrong address then took picture of wrong house, then said we weren’t in. But I was working in front garden at the scheduled time. Tried to call dpd to get him to return only to be told I was being charged £6 for the call. Absolute joke I won’t be ordering again. This wasn’t the first time either

Great quality and quick deliver too.
The finishing of the vents facing outwards is great and protected with a plastic film where you can peel it off after installation.
I do recommend to take more caution during installation as the finishing surface facing inwards could have sharp burrs. After a quick sanding solve this issue and it’s all good.

Really nice looking item. Fits lovely into my traditional house. Nice quality. The only downside, as someone has already mentioned, is the size of the tiny screws. They would not go into my walls - too small for a plug, and just kept coming out. I had to go and buy screws and plugs, which was a bit disappointing.

I bought three antique brass 9x6 vents and they are a beautiful addition to the room and exceptionally well made. When putting them up I strongly recommend putting a very small rubber seal on the back as you won’t notice it but makes it easy to open and close the vent.

Cover is fine, but comes with tiny screws that are no use in attaching the cover to either masonry or to a wooden panel (screws are 1cm long, so too short for any sort of rawl plug).
