A plain shaped Edwardian bell push finished in our Antique Satin Brass Unlacquered. Complete with fixing screws.
Being only 38mm wide, it should suit most door frames.
Please note that this is a semi flush installation - you need to allow 10mm-20mm at the rear for terminal connections.
If fitting this bell push to the wall, we also have an oak pattress (ref number: MSMM0171). which not only enhances the appearance, it also reduces the amount of timber or brickwork that needs to be drilled out for the rear of the bell push.
Antique satin brass is a living finish that is produced by hand. It is unlacquered so it will oxidise as it is exposed to the air and it will mellow and develop a rich patina with age and use. It can be polished back to achieve a lighter brighter finish or left to age further. This natural ageing combined with the hand crafted nature of the finish means that there may be differences in colour and detail. This all adds to the beauty, character and individuality of each product. If you are a retail customer in the UK then when we send you your Goods you will also receive a delivery/returns note (as well as your receipt). Full instructions on how to return the Goods to us are on the delivery/returns note. You have 14 days from date of receipt to return Goods to us and do not have to give a reason for doing so. You will have to pay for the return of the Goods. If the entire order is being returned, your refund will include the cost of the original delivery. You can either organize the return yourself (getting proof of postage) or (mainland UK only) we can arrange a collection via our courier. Courier collections arranged by us are charged at £15 per parcel if less than 1.5m in length, or £37 for parcels over 1.5m in length (eg curtain poles).
If you are NOT a retail customer or you are outside of the UK then you will not be able to return goods to us unless they are faulty.
If you receive damaged or faulty Goods then you should contact us to arrange the return within 48 hours of your receipt of the Goods. If we confirm when the Goods arrive back with us that they are damaged or faulty, then you will not be liable for the cost of returning the Goods. You will be offered a replacement or refund.
We regret that we cannot accept returns for Special Order items (unless damaged or faulty). A Special Order item would typically be any item that is not in stock.
We cannot be held responsible for packages lost, delayed or damaged in transit. For your protection if you are returning Goods to us, we recommend that you send your package by Royal Mail Special Delivery.

This bell push looks nice, but the quality is extremely disappointing.
The first one I was sent needed pressing extremely hard to ring and even then, it didn't always ring.
I was sent a replacement centre, which is a different size together original and didn't fit it the hole I'd originally drilled. One of the electrical terminals on the replacement appears to have the wrong threads for the grub screw and turns around znd around without tightening.
Between the original and replacement, I have been able to put together a working bell push.
Add to that, the fixing screws supplied are not brass, but steel, coated to look like aged brass. These have started to rust within a week and look awful already, so I'll be replacing with brass ones.
Extremely disappointing really as it looks a nice item. A shame the quality does not match the aesthetics.

Excellent quality and fit perfectly. Just had to make the hole in the door frame a little larger which was easy with a small wood chisel.
Can fit laterally

The layout of our front door required lateral fitting, and this doorpress can be fitted either way - not all of them can. Great quality and a good match for the other Edwardian door furniture we ourchased from Broughtons.

The quality of this bell push exceeded my expectations. I purchased it in conjuction with the Oak Pattress, which when fitted to the wall, really enhanced the overall look. The push itself is also very satisfyingly springy.

The online picture is highly accurate, it is well made and has a beautiful patina. The bell push is gorgeous and the electrician who fitted it for me said it was easy to fit.
If all the items on your order are in stock, we endeavour to despatch it within 1-2 days on a next day service to mainland UK. Other destinations will have longer transit times.
