We are currently looking for an individual to join our friendly team in the following role:
 
Job Title: Telephone/ Email Sales Advisor  (Date of posting: 09/11/18)
 
Hours of Work: Full Time - 5 x 8hr days per week although hours can be negotiable
Starting salary dependant on experience, to be reviewed after 6 months
 
Duties:
Answering customer questions and queries of products by phone or email, as well as taking orders from customers. Assisting customer enquiries on the website with the use of online chat.
 
Skills Needed:
  • A friendly smiling disposition
  • Previous experience in the retail trade is preferred although not essential – references will be required
  • Good verbal communication skills to advise customers, discuss queries etc.
  • Confident computer skills in order to operate the tills etc
  • Good written skills will be required to communicate with customers and colleagues by email
  • Good mathematical skills to total orders and apply percentage changes
  • An enthusiasm and interest in period property and home renovation would be beneficial
