Bakelite Round Door Knobs on Round Rose Black

A pair of vintage-style real Bakelite Door Knobs complete with round back-plates. This particular round stepped design was fairly uncommon and is quite heavy due to its slightly larger size. Complete with 5/16" spindle so it should fit some old locks as well as new locks. Grub screws and wood screws are also supplied.
They suit either mortice locks or rim locks. For rim lock use, simply discard one of the two back-plates.
The round back plates are No 6065 and the knob is No 6115.

Diameter of Knob: 55mm.

If you are a retail customer in the UK then when we send you your Goods you will also receive a delivery/returns note (as well as your receipt). Full instructions on how to return the Goods to us are on the delivery/returns note. You have 14 days from date of receipt to return Goods to us and do not have to give a reason for doing so. You will have to pay for the return of the Goods. If the entire order is being returned, your refund will include the cost of the original delivery. You can either organize the return yourself (getting proof of postage) or (mainland UK only) we can arrange a collection via our courier. Courier collections arranged by us are charged at £15 per parcel if less than 1.5m in length, or £37 for parcels over 1.5m in length (eg curtain poles).
If you are NOT a retail customer or you are outside of the UK then you will not be able to return goods to us unless they are faulty.
If you receive damaged or faulty Goods then you should contact us to arrange the return within 48 hours of your receipt of the Goods. If we confirm when the Goods arrive back with us that they are damaged or faulty, then you will not be liable for the cost of returning the Goods. You will be offered a replacement or refund.
We regret that we cannot accept returns for Special Order items (unless damaged or faulty). A Special Order item would typically be any item that is not in stock.
We cannot be held responsible for packages lost, delayed or damaged in transit. For your protection if you are returning Goods to us, we recommend that you send your package by Royal Mail Special Delivery.

The quality of the Brolite knobs is really excellent. They were very easy to fit (just don't overtighten the screws) and look very good indeed. They are shiny, however if they're anything like the other Bakelite knobs we have in the house, they'll patina down. Very pleased and as ever excellent (and incredibly fast) service.

We bought one to try, then bought more for the rest of our 1920s house. Great product, great service, easy to fit. We were replacing old, broken, door knobs. These new ones are the exact same style and have made such a difference. Very pleased we found Broughtons on line.

Good quality, do check the sizes first. We sent the 1st preference back as they were too small, these are fine, still not massive, but they feel nice in the hand. The colour is a little darker than the pic shows, but this is fine for us, from a distance the mottle doesn't show up. They go well with 50's our style doors. We are ordering more.
Will use Broughton's again, they are very speedy with delivery and helpful on the phone. Excellent company to deal with :)
