A heavy-duty 5 lever kite marked sash lock for use with 'Unsprung' lever lock handles or knob sets. If the handle or knob are 'unsprung' then there is no spring inside them so they rely completely on the spring inside the lock/latch to return them to the start point - which is why you need to choose a heavy duty locl/latch. Comes complete with all necessary fixings.

If you are a retail customer in the UK then when we send you your Goods you will also receive a delivery/returns note (as well as your receipt). Full instructions on how to return the Goods to us are on the delivery/returns note. You have 14 days from date of receipt to return Goods to us and do not have to give a reason for doing so. You will have to pay for the return of the Goods. If the entire order is being returned, your refund will include the cost of the original delivery. You can either organize the return yourself (getting proof of postage) or (mainland UK only) we can arrange a collection via our courier. Courier collections arranged by us are charged at £15 per parcel if less than 1.5m in length, or £37 for parcels over 1.5m in length (eg curtain poles).
If you are NOT a retail customer or you are outside of the UK then you will not be able to return goods to us unless they are faulty.
If you receive damaged or faulty Goods then you should contact us to arrange the return within 48 hours of your receipt of the Goods. If we confirm when the Goods arrive back with us that they are damaged or faulty, then you will not be liable for the cost of returning the Goods. You will be offered a replacement or refund.
We regret that we cannot accept returns for Special Order items (unless damaged or faulty). A Special Order item would typically be any item that is not in stock.
We cannot be held responsible for packages lost, delayed or damaged in transit. For your protection if you are returning Goods to us, we recommend that you send your package by Royal Mail Special Delivery.

The lock is rated Heavy Duty suitable for large un-spring solid handles. Having fitted 2 of these locks I have purchased another 2.
The Anvil lock is a 5 lever lock to British Standard BS 3621. Suitable for both internal and external doors.
Lock case and face plate are clearly marked as such.
The lock case is heavy and robust . Locking and unlocking with the key feels very good.
I chose a brass faceplate and striking box/plate. The brass is thick and highly polished . It looks very good and I have taken care not to score it during installation and to spend a little more time to carefully paint the door keeping the brass pristine. The brass keys are also distinctive and a pleasure to look at. Altogether I am very satisfied with the lock.

For Mainland UK (excluding Scottish Highlands) orders for items less than 1.5m in length and over £100 have FREE delivery (excludes radiators, stoves and palletized lighting). Most orders under £100 have a £5 delivery charge (£3 for small items, £7.50 for items over 1 metre, and £15 for items over 1.5m eg curtain poles).
