We were very excited to discover coloured dome switches in a rare vintage 1949 G.E.C. catalogue that we have in our procession. We thought how unusual and pretty they were.
So, we took our traditional plain solid brass domes and powder coated them in a choice of lovely colours. We thought that our chrome toggle switch looked the ‘part’ but white ones (as seen in the G.E.C. catalogue)
Complete with an authentic unfinished circular oak pattress, enabling you to wax, stain or paint to complement the decor in your home. A square pattress is also available as well as a double, treble and quadruple switch versions.
The oak is pre-drilled and channelled for fixing to a standard single (UK) wall box and two extra holes allowing for further fixings to the wall if required.
The toggle switch is a high quality English-made Wandsworth 2-way, rated at 20Amps/240v. An ‘upgrade’ to an 'Intermediate' switch is available as well as a Retractive switch. We are also able to supply the switch toggle in Black, Polished Brass, Satin Brass, Antique Silver etc. Some finishes carry a surcharge. Please contact email@example.com
Please note:Computer monitors, iPad's, Tablets etc can display colours differently.
On the central thread, on some of the domes, there is evidence where the dome was suspended (by wire) for the powder coating process. This is not considered a fault but just a feature.
Diameter of dome: 64mm
Diameter of oak pattress: 98mm
Projection to tip of toggle: 43mm
