A single rocker switch on a Mode style plate made from solid brass with a Hand Aged finish.The Mode plate has a single stepped edge design that would look fabulous in a wide variety of settings from traditional and period right through to contemporary.Hand Aged Brass is antiqued by hand as a bespoke service by our specialist Crafstman. Being hand aged, no two pieces are ever identical. It is a living finish that is unlacquered so it will oxidise as it is exposed to the air and it will mellow even further and develop a richer patina with age and use. We can also make the finish darker or lighter, for example to complement other products you have. Please contact us to discuss. Clean with a soft damp cloth followed by an application of a quality wax polish. The high quality rocker switch mechanism is made in the UK by Wandsworth and is rated at 20A. It is available as 2 Way, Intermediate, Double Pole or Rectractive. A 2 way switch is suitable for lights that only require switching from up to 2 places, whereas the intermediate switch would be required if the light is to be operated from more than 2 places (for example in hallways and on landings). The double pole switch can operate more than one circuit and the retractive switch is push to make (ie it doesn't toggle between an on position and an off position) so it is used for operating items such as window blinds or door access systems.A particular feature of our rocker switches is that the plate can be taken off easily (leaving the connections safely in place) for example for redecoration purposes or for cleaning of unlacquered plates so that you don't risk getting polish on your wall.We highly recommend using a minimum 35mm depth backbox with this product to give a comfortable amount of space for the grid (the switch or socket mechanism) and wiring behind the plate.Height: 88mm; Width: 88mm

If you are a retail customer in the UK then when we send you your Goods you will also receive a delivery/returns note (as well as your receipt). Full instructions on how to return the Goods to us are on the delivery/returns note. You have 14 days from date of receipt to return Goods to us and do not have to give a reason for doing so. You will have to pay for the return of the Goods. If the entire order is being returned, your refund will include the cost of the original delivery. You can either organize the return yourself (getting proof of postage) or (mainland UK only) we can arrange a collection via our courier. Courier collections arranged by us are charged at £15 per parcel if less than 1.5m in length, or £37 for parcels over 1.5m in length (eg curtain poles).
If you are NOT a retail customer or you are outside of the UK then you will not be able to return goods to us unless they are faulty.
If you receive damaged or faulty Goods then you should contact us to arrange the return within 48 hours of your receipt of the Goods. If we confirm when the Goods arrive back with us that they are damaged or faulty, then you will not be liable for the cost of returning the Goods. You will be offered a replacement or refund.
We regret that we cannot accept returns for Special Order items (unless damaged or faulty). A Special Order item would typically be any item that is not in stock.
We cannot be held responsible for packages lost, delayed or damaged in transit. For your protection if you are returning Goods to us, we recommend that you send your package by Royal Mail Special Delivery.

If all the items on your order are in stock, we endeavour to despatch it within 1-2 days on a next day service to mainland UK. Other destinations will have longer transit times.
If your order contains some products that have to be made or ordered specially, we will usually wait for all your ordered items to be in stock before despatch. Please contact us if you would like parts of your order to be despatched as and when they become available. This would attract a separate delivery charge for each delivery.

For Mainland UK (excluding Scottish Highlands) orders for items less than 1.5m in length and over £100 have FREE delivery (excludes radiators, stoves and palletized lighting). Most orders under £100 have a £5 delivery charge (£3 for small items, £7.50 for items over 1 metre, and £15 for items over 1.5m eg curtain poles).
