Circular Door Bell Push 3" Antique Satin Brass

A circular solid brass bell push 3" diameter, finished in our unlacquered antique satin brass. Complete with fixing screws.
Please note that this is a semi flush installation - you need to allow 10mm-20mm at the rear for terminal connections.
We also have a custom-made oak pattress to suit this bell push (ref number: MSMM0165) which not only enhances the appearance, it also reduces the amount of brickwork that needs to be drilled out for the rear of the bell push.
Antique satin brass is a living finish that is produced by hand. It is unlacquered so it will oxidise as it is exposed to the air and it will mellow and develop a rich patina with age and use. It can be polished back to achieve a lighter brighter finish or left to age further. This natural ageing combined with the hand crafted nature of the finish means that there may be differences in colour and detail. This all adds to the beauty, character and individuality of each product. If you are a retail customer in the UK then when we send you your Goods you will also receive a delivery/returns note (as well as your receipt). Full instructions on how to return the Goods to us are on the delivery/returns note. You have 14 days from date of receipt to return Goods to us and do not have to give a reason for doing so. You will have to pay for the return of the Goods. If the entire order is being returned, your refund will include the cost of the original delivery. You can either organize the return yourself (getting proof of postage) or (mainland UK only) we can arrange a collection via our courier. Courier collections arranged by us are charged at £15 per parcel if less than 1.5m in length, or £37 for parcels over 1.5m in length (eg curtain poles).
If you are NOT a retail customer or you are outside of the UK then you will not be able to return goods to us unless they are faulty.
If you receive damaged or faulty Goods then you should contact us to arrange the return within 48 hours of your receipt of the Goods. If we confirm when the Goods arrive back with us that they are damaged or faulty, then you will not be liable for the cost of returning the Goods. You will be offered a replacement or refund.
We regret that we cannot accept returns for Special Order items (unless damaged or faulty). A Special Order item would typically be any item that is not in stock.
We cannot be held responsible for packages lost, delayed or damaged in transit. For your protection if you are returning Goods to us, we recommend that you send your package by Royal Mail Special Delivery.

This door bell push looks very smart with a good, solid look and feel. The only reason for docking a point is that the terminal screws on the back are very loose in the threads. Either the screws have been made to bottom limit or the corresponding female threads are at top limit - or a combination of the two. The result is that they barely engage meaning that it is very easy to strip them even if you know what you are doing and are being very careful. Don’t let that put you off though, I certainly recommend this product otherwise and would purchase again.

Nice looking bell, but sadly the bell push barely reaches the electrical contacts, so an unnecessarily hard push was required. I soldered a steel washer on the end of the push part, which fixed the problem, but it was annoying to have to do this.

Echoing Oliver’s comment. Using the matching wooden patriss, it still protrudes 3mm which is inconvenient as I was hoping not to have to chop into a brick. The product is well made and evidently high quality. Looks good, especially in the hardwood patriss.

Very pleased with my 3" antique brass bell push. Lovely finish and very good quality, perfect for a Victorian house. Comes with matching brass screws. One issue that may not be clear is that the switch mechanism protrudes about 2cm from the back, so you'll need to drill a 30mm radius hole a little over 20mm deep so that the plate sits flush with the wall. I used a cheap TCT core drill bit and chuck which cost around £6 from ToolStation. If that sounds daunting, alternatively you could mount the bell on a circular wood plate that already has a hole in it, which I note this website also sells (but can't comment on it). Delivery was fast. All in all very pleased.
